Linemarkers South East Queensland does not just stick to Brisbane city with our line marking jobs.  Sometimes, and to our crew’s delight, we visit our clients to the north, south and west of Brisbane.  Our crew enjoy escaping the city for the bush when the opportunity arises.  A country drive, staying in motels, and enjoying a chicken parmi after a good day’s work is all part of the fun.  If you are a country client looking for some line marking, read on to see if Linemarkers South East Queensland is the company for you.

Before we go too far, it must be noted that Linemarkers South East Queensland does not line mark on public roads.  If we did, our crews would be extremely busy beyond the city fringes.  Rather, our jobs are on commercial and industrial sites or local council run facilities.  This includes car park line marking, and painting workplace health and safety lines as well as road marking on private roads.  With that proviso out of the way, we will give you some examples of our work beyond the greater Brisbane area.

Recent Road Trip North Burnett Shire Council

Recently our crew travelled well over 1200 kilometres visiting Biggenden, Gayndah, Mundubbera, Eidsvold, and Monto for some line marking work on behalf of the local council.   The photo below shows a park in Mundubbera with car parking bay lines and a disabled logo.  A relatively small scope of works, but as there were a number of these sorts of jobs to do on this trip, it was worthwhile for both the Council and our business.  We try to include a few jobs, if possible, to spread the costs of travel.  Back to the photo, some of our crew, who come from this part of the country, reminisced about climbing all over the train seen in the background, as children.  It looks like the train is just for display now as it is fenced off.

Chinchilla

One of our regular destinations is Chinchilla and our crew are heading out in July to line mark at a fuel stop and motel car park.  We will be thinking of them painting at the fuel stop in the chilly late evenings.  We need to schedule this time to ensure vehicular traffic is at its minimum for safety and so the line marking is not disrupting any daytime work flows.  The crew will be painting pedestrian crossings, wording, car park bay lines, as well as the yellow markings seen at petrol stations such as on the kerbing.

Toowoomba and Gatton

Linemarkers South East Queensland has been a frequent visitor to Toowoomba, Gatton and surrounds over the years to quote (at no charge) as well as line mark.  Sites have included railway freight logistics facilities, petrol stations, fast food outlets, schools, and the Toowoomba Hospital to paint the helicopter landing pad as shown in the photo below.

Quotations

We are happy to provide quotations for work out of town and will travel as far as Toowoomba, Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast at no charge.  Where we must stay overnight, due to the distance travelled to quote, we will need to charge to cover our accommodation expenses.  Many times, our clients will send a plan, a series of photos or Google Maps which will then assist our office to complete a quotation remotely at no charge.

How we will do your line marking

Once you accept our quotation, our office will contact you to find out the best day and time for us to line mark.  As at the Chinchilla truck stop, it might be after 9pm when things are quiet, but it might be more suitable to have us come on a Friday afternoon as business is winding up for the week.  Every site is different, and we aim to work at the most convenient time for you.  Our office makes accommodation bookings, does the purchasing of paint and other items such as wheel stops or signs and then sends our crew on their way to you.  The office will also arrange to send any paperwork you may require such as Public Liability and WorkCover Insurance Certificates, Safe Work Method Statements and the Safety Data Sheets for our paints.   If you have any onsite inductions, our crew will attend.  It is always great to have a customer representative on site to liaise with our crew, so the job is completed to everyone’s satisfaction.  Once we are done, we tidy up, pack our utes, and head back to Brisbane or to the next stop on our country tour.  Do you like the sound of how we do things?  If you have a line marking job out your way we will be happy to help. If you would like a free quote, please call the office on 07 3277 2448 or use our contact form.
